Winemaking
Vineyards that are 85 years old, with yields ranging from 3000 kg/ha to 3500 kg/ha. Clay soils with sand and ferruginous substrate in some areas. Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes, passing the bunches through a selection table to avoid those that do not meet the quality standards. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with constant temperatures below 28ºC.
Tasting Notes
Deep red colour with hints of violet. Very fresh on the nose. Red fruits such as blackberries and wild berries; attached to the Bierzo soil with toasted notes of smoke and liquorice, there are also some hints of balsamic aromas, mainly mint.
The wine is well structured on the palate, with incredible depth and a persistent fruity finish. Perfect balance with very fine tannins.
